Helios Version 12.3.8.11000 Update for Enterprise

Scheduled for Release on September 19, 2012 after 1:00AM EST

This is a planned update containing completed feature enhancements.

Users Effected:

This update will affect users of Helios Version 12 Enterprise.

Required User Action:

There should be no user action required for Enterprise users in order to update to this release. The Helios Auto-Updater will receive and apply any required file changes. The Helios Application may need to be closed and restarted in order to complete the update. The Auto-Updater may need Administrator access to the Operating System in order to complete and needs to be run on each workstation.

Overview:

Helios Version 12.3.8.11000 Update is a mid-release update containing several specific application enhancements. It will be applied to the Enterprise Network as part of the scheduled overnight maintenance routine on Wednesday, September 19 beginning after 1:00AM. Maintenance affecting the regular operation of the Helios Application will not begin until after 1:00AM EST (10:00 PST) in order to avoid impacting subscribers during normal operating hours.

New Features:

There are no new features included in this update.

Feature Enhancements:

This update is timed in conjunction with the scheduled update to the New Sunshine Marketing Hub in order to maintain the feature-rich integration between both applications.

The Sales Code logic has been enhanced to include the capability of the sales code to override the amount and expiration settings of a package as it is being sold. On the Package/Membership Intelligence screen after selecting a Package in the Bought field, simply double click on the package name to view the package override options. By changing the amount or expiration date of the package, when the package is sold under this sales code it will be modified accordingly but will not modify the values of the original package.

The Sales Code logic has been enhanced to include the capability of the sales code to define the renewal settings of a package being renewed. On the Package/Membership Intelligence screen after selecting a Package in the Renew Packages field, simply double click on the package name to view the renewal options. By specifying a renewal date or number of days, any package that has been expired longer than the specified date or number of days will no longer be valid for renewal.
