September 1st 2015 - Over the course of past releases, Helios 12 has added some sales code features that you may not have utilized. Two of these features that deserve mentioning are the “No Discount” option and the Bonus Packages option. Both are located on the Financial tab, and allow you more control and automation of your offerings.

The “No Discount” option prevents a cashier from using the Discount button at the point of sale. Any sales code that has this option checked will cause the Discount button to be grayed out and unable to be selected. This option can be used for both products and services.

The “Bonus Packages” option allows you to attach a package, or even multiple packages, to a sales code. This option allows to offer a session(s) with the purchase of something else. Popular uses of this option is a complimentary tan in a high level bed with certain lotion purchases or a complimentary spray tan/session when joining an EFT program.
