This release will affect users of Helios Version 12 Enterprise.

Required User Action

There should be no user action required in order to update to this release. The Helios Auto-Updater will receive and apply any required file changes. The Helios Application may need to be closed and restarted in order to complete the update.

Overview

Helios Version 12.3.2 Release is a routine scheduled version release containing the accumulation of completed bug fixes. It will be applied as part of the scheduled overnight maintenance routine to begin on Tuesday, August 2 into Wednesday, August 3. Maintenance affecting the regular operation of the Helios Application will not begin until after 1:00AM EST (10:00 PST) in order to avoid impacting subscribers during scheduled operating hours.

Bug Fixes

There are several bug fixes included in this release:

1. The Require Password to Void Today’s Sales feature in the System Defaults option has been fixed to ensure same day sales always require an authorized password in order to void.
2. The Allow One Time feature in the Sales Code option has been fixed to ensure that the feature will function even if a promotion code is not assigned. If the Allow One Time feature is checked but a promotion code is entered then any sales code with the same promotion code can only be used one time. If the Allow One Time feature is checked but no promotion code is entered then the sales code can only be used one time.
3. The View Draft screen from Backoffice has been adjusted to allow an EFT record to be deleted.
4. The In House Charge Date Due field in the Sales Code option has been fixed to allow the field to be cleared if it is not required.
5. The Point of Sale Void logic has been fixed to replace the balance amount in the In House Charge account if a Payment transaction is being voided.
6. The Point of Sale Void logic has been fixed to prevent the entire In House Charge balance from being removed when only a partial payment is received.
7. The Prepaid Dollars and Bonus Bucks logic has been fixed to prevent unshared accounts from being deducted inappropriately.
8. The Contract / Release printing logic has been fixed to prevent a previously printed client contract or release form from being displayed and printed from the system’s cache instead of the current client’s information.
9. The Contract release form has been fixed to display the EFT information on the contract even if the EFT profile is not yet active, as in the case of an EFT Enrollment with a prepaid amount.
10. The Package Matrix logic has been improved to prevent errors or lost data when saving a large matrix. Only data which has been modified will be returned instead of all of the matrix data which can cause a timeout error.
11. The EFT Resubmit logic has been improved to prevent resubmitted reject accounts from being randomly removed from the client balance.
12. The Point of Sale Client Activity area has been modified to include the Bed Type Key Letter indicating the bed level used. Previously the Location and Room Number was displayed but not the Bed Type, which could cause confusion when previous tans were at other locations and room numbers are not consistent between locations.
13. Credit Card swipe functionality has been restored for new processing platform beta testers.
