Dear Helios V11 User,
Last year we extended our V11 Software Audit so we could coordinate it with the rollout of our latest release of Helios - Version 12. The Software Audit requires that current V11 software will need to be updated along with the copy protection device (dongle) prior to October 1, 2009 in order to avoid any service interruption. All Helios customers who originally received their Helios V11 software from us are eligible for this update regardless of whether or not they are currently on an active Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA). Those who fall into this category are recognized as an "Authorized User" of our product based on the terms and conditions of our Software License Agreement (SLA).
Any business that is using Helios V11 and did not receive it from Helios is considered an "Unauthorized User" of our product and are in violation of our SLA. These businesses are not eligible for this update and would need to contact our sales department at 888.936.5160 to discuss getting an authorized copy of Helios.
All Authorized Users of V11 need to go to www.gohelios.com/v11update and complete the electronic request form. V11 updates including a new dongle will be sent out within two (2) weeks along with a UPS return shipping label. Customers will have thirty (30) days to return the old dongle with the provided UPS shipping label.
All customers on an active SMA are eligible to request their V12 upgrade at this time as well. Customers requesting the V12 upgrade should allow up to six (6) weeks before receiving their upgrade conversion date. Upgrading to V12 requires additional paperwork to be filled out and the conversion process will need to be scheduled with one of our technicians.
